Circus Clown

Such melancholic sounds,
Play for a Circus Clown,
That clown was funny when we went,
When we left, he was crying behind the tent.

Cycling Monkey is so damn still,
That Circus Clown lost free will,
Yeah, the children have all control,
It’s a lifetime of work or vitriol.

So don’t come hanging round now,
You ain’t nothing but a Circus Clown,
The real entertainment’s gone,
The music boxes get it wrong.

Yeah, the children have all control,
It’s a lifetime of work or vitriol,
It’s a lifetime of work or vitriol,
Those children have all control.
